The Land & Legacy Project helps connect residents with available home repair resources, programs, and community partners. Our goal is to help families maintain safe, stable homes while protecting the property they have worked hard to build and preserve for future generations.

Provides guidance, counseling, and connections to home repair programs and housing resources across Houston and Harris County.
Provides assistance to low income homeowners to address health and safety hazards, including structural, electrical, and accessibility repairs. Priority is often given to seniors and individuals with disabilities.
Offers financial assistance for home rehabilitation, reconstruction, and repairs for low to moderate income homeowners. Programs may cover roofing, plumbing, electrical systems, and major structural work.
**Currently not offering home repair assistance for any properties located within the Fifth Ward/Kashmere Gardens UPRR sampling zone, due to an active EPA investigation involving potential contamination from the former Union Pacific Railroad site.**
